Middle School Math Specialist
We seek a creative, joyful teacher with prior teaching experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field. 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

    Waldorf teacher trained or a willingness to enroll in teacher training

    Experience teaching at the middle school level

    An enthusiasm for working adolescents

Professional development support includes a mentoring program, funding assistance for continued Waldorf training, and an environment of colleagues who love teaching, work together in a collaborative manner and enjoy warm relationships with parents.

AWS supports self-initiative in their teachers and encourages them to work out of inner convictions. 

The position involves teaching ten 45-minute periods per week, faculty meetings and work days. 

This is a part-time, salaried, school year position.  Compensation begins July 2015.  Faculty work days are during the weeks of September 1, 2015 and June 13, 2016.  School begins September 10, 2015 and ends June 20, 2016.
